Caravan and Camp Sites - The Perfect Base to Tour Northern Ireland
Caravanning and camping sites close to the Larne and Belfast ferry terminals, are the perfect and practical options for those overnight stops before your onward journey. For visitors travelling to Northern Ireland from the Republic of Ireland via Newry, the caravan parks around Newcastle, County Down and the Ards Peninsula are always popular options.
Many enjoy perfect views of the Mourne Mountains and aren't far from the many Blue Flag beaches and marinas in the nearby area - great for the fun family day out. County Down also boasts numerous stately homes, gardens and historic monuments and sites. Our St. Patrick's Trail is a must in any itinerary. If you are entering Northern Ireland from Donegal, there are a number of caravan and camping parks along the famous Causeway Coastal Route (CCR), a scenic route rated as one of the Top Five Road Trips, and leading from Belfast, through Carrickfergus, up to the magnificent Giant's Causeway and beyond to Londonderry (also known as Derry).
