Before the dust settles on the 2008 Meet the Buyer Workshop I would like to thank you all for your invaluable help in organising the event, and in particular the Friday evening at the Guildhall. My sincere thanks to Derry City Council for agreeing to host, what I'm sure you will agree was a fantastic evening. The feedback I have received to date from tour operators, NI trade and invited guests alike has all been extremely positive and highly flattering. Both evening events were very successful and were a perfect contrast to each other with a mix of fantastic local talent and the unique flavour of Northern Ireland and what the destination has to offer. The day itself also ran seamlessly, feedback on the venue, the flow of the days events and on the appointments was all very positive.

Our conference was a great success both professionally and socially. The policy board thought the venue and catering were excellent, and the mayoral reception was a real treat. We received an excellent tour of the guildhall and as for the other social events - any one who joined the cruise thoroughly enjoyed it and the walking tour was extremely well received also. Everyone thought the hospitality was excellent!

The ANIELB Annual Conference held on 16/17 October 2008 in the Millennium Forum was excellent. As you are aware the City Hotel was used for accommodation and the Gala Dinner on the Thursday night. Staff in both venues were more than professional in their skills and expertise and were an absolute pleasure to work with. As one of the main organisers of the Conference they made my job a lot easier as nothing was too much bother for staff.Overall, an excellent conference - beautifully linked with a range of musical contributions and such a rich tradition!
