Portaferry Tourist Information and Visitor Centre

Make the award-winning Tourist Information and Visitor Centre your first stop in Portaferry for all you need to know about places to visit, where to stay, local events and where to eat during your visit to the Ards Peninsula. Situated within the walls of Portaferry Castle, overlooking scenic Strangford Lough and within a short walk from the town centre, the Tourist Information Centre provides you with local and national tourist information, an accommodation booking service, fax and photocopying service. The centre also has a wide range of souvenirs for sale.

Visit "Art in The Loft' a series of exhibitions by local craftspeople running throughout the season and enjoy an audiovisual presentation of places of interest in Northern Ireland in our exhibition room. The Centre prides itself on delivering a high standard of customer service and has been awarded a Charter Mark in recognition of this. Lift access is available to the upper floor.
