Newry Canal Cycle Challenge

Now in its 4th year the Newry Canal Challenge has become more a fun day out than a challenge. A beautiful flat, meandering and traffic free route takes in some outstanding countryside. This year there is a smaller family event, stopping at the visitor centre in Scarva before returning to Portadown, so throw the kids in your bike trailer, child seat or if you think they're able, let them go on their own steam. 40 miles for the full event or 14 for the smaller family event.
