Armagh is hosting its annual Georgian Day which promises yet again to be the most exciting day of the Christmas calendar in the city.
Georgian Day has market stalls offering stunning crafts and food to excite the Christmas shopper seeking unique gifts. With the scent of warm mince pies and mulled wine along with the sound of local bands playing music, this event is when Christmas begins in Armagh.
Theatrics are never far from the forefront throughout the day with Georgian street urchins and young ruffians pick pocketing or begging for money, this is a unique opportunity to see street theatre at its best.
The evening concludes with a Georgian lantern parade towards the Mall were carols are sung and the Christmas feeling is at its height. Then Santa arrives to meet children then there will be a dramatic and electrifying Firework Finale.
