Description: Samhain is believed by many historians to be the beginning of the ancient Celtic year, but it was also a celebration for the final days of the harvest and the last opportunity to feast before the onset of Winter. It was a time for storing the grain and deciding which animals would be killed for food. But it was also a time to celebrate the dead, and to tell stories and offer sacrifices to the Gods. Join our living history characters as they celebrate this great feast and enjoy being whisked back in time to the heart of Celtic Ulster.
